FAQs

I’m considering hiring a coach. Where do I start?

The process begins with a phone consultation. This is where we determine if the coach and client are a good fit.

What is expected of me as a client?

You have to participate in your own success. Your commitment to doing the heart work, showing up - on time and engaged in the session is part of your investment in optimizing results. My role will be to guide you, provide resources, encourage action, and be your accountability partner. You do the work, you will see the change.

I have never worked with a coach or professional mentor before, what can I expect?

Coaching is a process of collaboration and defining goals, as well as executing practical steps toward your business growth and development. I like to roll up my sleeves right out of the gate with my coaching clients so that you can start crossing off tasks immediately in our first session. I do not use a one size fits all approach, but prefer to meet each client right where they are and support them step-by-step. Clients share that this approach greatly enhances their confidence and focus in achieving their professional goals, without wasting time.

Who might need a Professional Coach?

People from all walks of life find coaching useful. I work with a variety of professionals across industries and occupations. Many of my clients need help to take their personal and professional to the next level.

Professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and stay at home parents are finding that coaching is the key to excellent performance, learning, achievement, and enjoyment. Therefore, they choose to work with a coach on a continuing basis.

What results can I expect working with you?

The results are often dependent upon you and your determination to not only follow the coaching program and my recommendations, but to also decide that nothing will stop you from getting the results you desire.  Great outcomes include:

  • Gaining self awareness

  • Minimize mistakes of the past

  • Gain tools for communicating with others that maximize the results you want

  • You gain a plan of action and start to work on it with an accountability partner

  • You have an opportunity to change. Take it.

  • You can achieve your goals with greater intentionality and velocity.

How can I be sure my confidential information is safe with you?

I maintain strict confidentiality of all your business and personal information that we seal with an Non-Disclosure Agreement before you become a client. You can also view our Privacy Policy here.

How often do we meet and how long does coaching last?

The length of coaching depends on your pace and your goals. Some clients do well with a handful of sessions spread out over a few weeks or months. Other coaching clients prefer meeting every other week, and still others prefer to meet once a month for six months. You and I can discuss what feels like a good fit for you as we put together your action steps.

While coaching can be very effective for short-term change, my clients stay with coaching an average of 12 to 18 months, some longer. The learning that takes place creates results that continue beyond coaching. Executive  Coaching is not meant to be a “quick fix” or a short-term relationship.
